Counseling is a significant element of the preconception care offered at MAIA. We can help you clarify your family vision, explore relationship concerns, create coparenting agreements, or decide whether to use a known donor or a sperm bank.
We are also available to consult with your potential known donor or co-parent (and their partner) to answer some of the natural concerns that come up for those considering this role.
We help families to manage the emotional roller coaster ride of insemination cycles. We assist single parents in creating networks of support. We also aid those who are in the exploration process in clarifying whether or not they want to parent.
Follow-up Care & Chart Review
Following each consultation, we provide three months of complementary chart review. You may fax or email your cycle chart to us, and it will be used to assess hormonal balance, timing of ovulation, and any recommended fertility support. Chart review is conducted by email.
If you have not conceived after three cycles, a follow-up appointment is scheduled to review your fertility enhancement plan and timing strategies. Re-assessment of your overall plan may include recommendations for further medical tests or treatments, natural fertility support techniques, choosing a new donor, or simply allowing time for the right cycle to come along.
At MAIA, we feel that continuity is important. Scheduling regular consultations and utilizing the complimentary chart review services will increase your chances of getting pregnant quickly, ultimately reducing your overall costs. As a MAIA client, you also have access to our Urgent Timing Advice appointments as well as our Client Support Groups.
All fees include 3 months of chart review.
90 minute initial consultation: $250
MAIA is committed to making our services accessible to all. Payment plans and other forms of financial assistance are available for low-income families.
